Little Comets

Tyne and Wear based indie favourites Little Comets are among the extensive line up of this year’s Stockton Calling Festival. This year’s line up also includes rising Sunderland folks The Lake Poets and Teesside’s answer to Vampire Weekend: Young Rebel Set  on the festival’s biggest stage, ARC.

Joining them will be 90s Brit-pop icons Space, best known for their single Female Of The Species, who are playing the Ku stage. Joining them are Teesside acts The Panoramic, The Glass Moths and Rambler.

The North East talent doesn’t stop there though, as Hartlepool artisans Palace play alongside Teessiders The Purnells, electro band Lost State Of Dance, Abel Raise The Cain and Mouses, plus many more great Northern bands.

The festival is in its fifth year and is spread across eight stages across Stockton. Topping the Georgian Theatre bill are Public Service Broadcasting, who were named as one of the best bands of 2013 by the likes of BBC 6Music.

We Are Knuckle Dragger have been named as replacement for previously billed Rivals. Other names on the line up announced are: Darlia, Bleech, The Dead Indians, Davey Band Man, as well as many, many more.

Stockton Calling wild be held at the following venues:

The Georgian Theatre

The Sun Inn

The Vault

The Storytellers

The Green Room

HM Bark Endeavour (on Stockton’s Riverside.)

Stockton Calling takes place across Stockton on Saturday 19 April. Tickets £15
