Oh, and the stellar cast for the record-breaking musical has just been announced:

She has also been on tour with the cast of Boy George’s Taboo,  playing the lead of Kim, as well as Lorraine Campbell in the Susan Boyle story – I Dreamed a Dream.

Star of stage and screen Emily Tierney will reprise the role of Glinda, having played the Good Witch on several occasions in Wicked and in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s production of The Wizard of Oz.

The rest of the cast includes Samuel Edwards as Fiyero, Marilyn Cutts as Madame Morrible, Steven Pinder as The Wizard and Doctor Dillamond, Carina Gillespie as Nessarose, Richard Vincent as Boq and Jacqueline Hughes as standby for Elphaba.

The musical is based on the stories by L. The award-winning musical continues its record-breaking open-ended run at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre making it the 10th longest running show at the West End. The UK and Ireland tour started in September 2013 in Manchester and has already broken box office records.

Wicked opens at the Sunderland Empire on Tuesday 31 March 2015.
