The Libertines co-frontman Carl Barat will bring his newest musical project, Carl Barat and The Jackals, to Stockton’s KU Bar this Friday (November 14).

The night will celebrate 11 amazing years of live music at the venue. Over this time, KU Bar has played host to the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Friendly Fires, The 1975, Circa Waves and Wolf Alice.

The Jackals’ well-received single Glory Days was recently released as a free download and they’re expected to put out an album in the new year.

From The Libertines to his solo material to work with Dirty Pretty Things, Carl Barat is known to put on quite a show. It won’t be the first time he’s played KU Bar and if last time is anything to go by, it looks to be an exciting night.

After the gig, the venue will hold one of the region’s best indie club nights and will be open right through until 3.00am.

Carl Barat and The Jackals play KU Bar on Friday 14 November. Doors 8.00pm. Tickets £12.50. 18+
