Wolf Alice to play Newcastle's Riverside on Spring 2015 tour
Alternative rock four-piece Wolf Alice have announced a UK tour next spring on which they’ll be stopping off at Newcastle’s Riverside for a no doubt enthralling night.
The tour will see the band, fronted by glamourously grungy Ellie Rowsell, play 14 dates all over the country in just under three weeks.
Wolf Alice last visited Newcastle in May where they played to a raucous crowd of Geordies in Think Tank who will undoubtedly be keen to welcome them back.
The last Wolf Alice EP, Creature Songs, released earlier this year, was highly acclaimed and they are expected to release their eagerly anticipated debut studio album in 2015, conveniently coinciding with the tour.
This year has been quite a special one for Wolf Alice, as they’ve slowly but surely secured a name for themselves as one of the country’s most exciting up-and-coming bands. With their slot on the prestigious John Peel Stage at Glastonbury being one of their defining moments and receiving endless praise from the likes of NME and The Clash, it’s set to be one hell of a show.
