Bear's Den to play The Cluny
Alternative folk trio Bear’s Den are set to play The Cluny on February 12. Formed in West London in 2012, their rich and unique sound has earned them raving reviews and their live shows are eagerly anticipated.
Shortly after forming, the band found themselves travelling around America on one of their first ever tours with Ben Howard, Nathaniel Rateliff and The Staves. After extensive touring and a burst of EP releases, they successfully released their debut album, Islands, in October last year.
Islands was released on Communion Records, a label founded in 2006 by the band’s own Kevin Jones, Mumford and Sons’ Ben Lovett and producer Ian Grimble (Manic Street Preachers, Travis). Filled with pretty harmonies and expressive lyrics, it will no doubt be a treat to see live.
Bear’s Den will play nine UK dates in just 13 days before heading off to share their music in various cities across Europe. If atmospheric folk-pop is your cup of tea, it’s one definitely not to be missed.
