Founded in 2010, the North West based five piece, Sundowners, are kicking off their UK tour in February.

Following the release of their debut self titled album on February 9, the band will visit Newcastle’s Cluny 2.

Band members Fiona (vocals and rhythm guitar), and Alfie (lead guitar), are the siblings of James and Ian Skelly, from The Coral, and are signed to the same Skeleton Key Records Label.

Vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Niamh Rowes, said: “We’ve played in The Cluny before and it was a great venue and a great gig.” This is the biggest tour the band have played, “It’s exciting to be doing this tour because we have an album out for people to hear so it’ll be nice to see the reaction to it,” Niamh added.

The Sundowners are playing the Cluny 2 on Thursday February 12 with She Drew The Gun supporting them. The event is for over 18’s and tickets are £7.70.
