Derren Brown to return to Sunderland Empire this May
Derren Brown has been captivating audiences with his personal brand of magic for over a decade and is returning to Sunderland with his latest stage show.
The illusionist has announced Miracle, his seventh live show, will have a five-day run at The Sunderland Empire, beginning on May 20.
Sunderland (branded “Funderland” by the man himself on Twitter) has become a regular stop for the trickster with his previous tours also paying The Empire a visit.
Previous shows Svengali (2012) and Something Wicked This Way Comes (2006) both won Olivier Awards, with his most recent outing, Infamous, selling out.
Wearsiders hoping to catch the action will have to grab tickets soon, with Sunderland currently the only place scheduled in between York and Edinburgh.
A 2016 leg of the tour has been confirmed, with locations yet to be announced.
Derren Brown plays The Sunderland Empire, May 20-25. Tickets £27.90 – £48.90.
