Wolf Alice to play Newcastle venue Riverside this weekend
British alternative rock band Wolf Alice will be playing in Newcastle on March 28 as part of their UK tour.
Having originally consisted of only two members, and producing folk-inspired music, the band developed their style into self-described “rocky pop” when adding a rhythm section in 2012. Since then, the band have been labeled as ones to watch by a collection of music magazines, including NME, Clash and ArtRocker.
The North London musicians made their way up the food chain by supporting well-known artists like Alt-J, The 1975 and Manic Street Preachers; however, they are now established headliners in their own right.
The band have been working like dogs, or wolves, to promote their debut album My Love Is Cool, which is released in June. Their tour has seen them performing in various locations throughout North America and parts of Europe.
Tickets are £12 and are available at See Tickets.
