The annual Newcastle Film and Comic Convention returns to the Metro Radio Arena on 28 and 29 of March.

Focusing on bringing together fans of both Western and Eastern media, the con will feature elements of TV, film and comics, while also showcasing anime, manga and video games.

With a wide range of activities and events running throughout the weekend, con-goers will be able to see and have photo shoots and autograph sessions with a variety of famous guest stars – notably James Marsters (of Torchwood and Buffy, where he plays vampire Spike) who will be joined by other notable names from Torchwood and Game of Thrones, as well as actors from both Star Wars and Star Trek.

Other activities which will be ongoing over the weekend will include question and answer panels and cosplay competitions, as well as hundreds of stalls brimming with merchandise from every series imaginable.

All online tickets have been sold out, however there will be some tickets available on the door at the weekend.
