After touring the country and documenting the candid reality of cities and towns, photographers Jan Williams & Chris Teasdale bring their yellow social club on wheels, The Caravan Gallery, to Sunderland.

The Pride of Place pop in project will run for a month from April 2. The developing exhibition will feature a series of photographs with a dynamic and quirky take on the city.

Photographers Jan Williams & Chris Teasdale encourage local residents to bring along their own photographs, artwork and stories to celebrate the real Sunderland- from the thought provoking to the down right humorous.

The Caravan Gallery project is sponsored by Arts Council England and is in partnership with the NGCA and Sunderland City Council.

The exhibition will be based at 55 High Street West, Sunderland, SR1 3DP where the project’s launch event will be held from 6-8pm on April 2.
