The world has changed in the last century, however for Adaline it has not. From the director Lee Toland Krieger (The Vicious Kind & Celeste & Jesse Forevercomes the magical story of Adaline Bowman (Blake Lively). Defying the laws of nature Adaline has remained the young age of 29 for eight decades.
Never letting anyone close, Adaline has always put her secret above all else, hiding her identity, until she meets charming Ellis Jones (Michiel Huisman). Ellis reawakens a love and passion for life within Adaline and after a weekend with his parents threatens to reveal the truth Adaline is left with the ultimate question that will change her life for ever. Is love worth giving up her immortality?
The film is full of notable stars such as Kathy Baker, Amanda Crew, Harrison Ford and Ellen Burstyn.
Rated pg13 for suggestive content, The Age of Adaline will be released in the UK 8 May 2015.
