Nick Cave’s sold-out European tour reaches the Sage on April 29.

He aims to create a unique and out-of-the-ordinary show and playing intimate venues is the perfect opportunity to explore his eclectic back catalogue.

Expect the set to include songs from his band Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds’ most recent album Push the Sky Away. It features in the film 20,000 Days on Earth, a semi-fictional documentary about Cave set prior, and during the recording of the album. The film, released in 2014, has won several awards and generated positive reviews around the world.

The artist is also a published author, screenwriter and poet born in Australia. He has just released a book called The Sick Bag Song named after the epic narrative poem he started with ideas scribbled onto a sick bag while on a plane to Nashville.
