Preview: Horizon Zero Dawn’s Hunt Is On
19th February 2017Most post-apocalyptic games go for a bleak grey setting like the Fallout series, but Horizon Zero Dawn is set in a lush, vibrant world.
The world features natural habitats to explore as well as fallen cities and remains of previous civilisations.
The game is an action role-playing game in which a hunter named Aloy is trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic setting where technology has been banned.
Horizon is an open world environment and has a thriving ecosystem, full of robotic animals that interlink and interact with each other. The machines drop components, which are vital for the crafting mechanic within the game.
Players can make choices in key situation, which directly affect Aloy’s relationships with others. There is also a photo mode, which lets players capture moments in the stunning world of Horizon.
The title is made by developer Guerilla Games, who are known for the Killzone series.
The PS4 exclusive hits shelves on March 1.
