Patrick Monahan Returns To The Region With Washington Arts Centre Show

Comedian Patrick Monahan is bringing his latest stand-up show Cake Charmer to the Washington Arts Centre, as part of his current UK tour.

The Teessider, who first performed the show at lasts years Edinburgh Festival, is known for his clean, family-friendly material and joking about his Irish-Iranian heritage. His likeable persona has seen him feature on several television programs in the last few years including winning the ITV talent contest Show Me the Funny in 2011.

He also appeared on the BBC’s Let’s Dance for Sport Relief in 2012, and competed on the most recent series of celebrity diving show Splash!, where he was knocked out in the heats. Cake Charmer is Monahan’s seventh show that he has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and heavily features improvised audience interaction.
