Miles Jupp

The multi-talented Miles Jupp is embarking on his latest stand-up tour, Miles Jupp Is The Chap You’re Thinking Of, and is heading to Newcastle next week.

The comedian, actor and writer will be at The Stand on April 1 to entertain people with a mixture of jokes, stories and rants. It’s Jupp’s first tour since his successful 2012 show Fibber In The Heat, where he detailed his dream to become a cricket writer. He even managed to bluff his way onto the England team’s tour of India in 2006 as a BBC Scotland and Western Mail correspondent.

Jupp first appeared on our screens when he starred as Archie the inventor in kids favourite Balamory. As well as cameos in Harry Potter and Sherlock Holmes, Jupp played hapless press officer John Duggan in The Thick Of It and can currently be seen as Nigel the lay reader in BBC’s hit sitcom Rev.

Miles Jupp plays The Stand on Tuesday 1 April. 7pm. Tickets £13
