Younghusband To Play Pop Recs LTD

Pop Recs have announced yet another stellar booking, as Watford-based band Younghusband head down to play at the shop next Sunday.

With a style all their own and influences as varied as Nirvana, Lemonhead and Pavement, Younghusband are quickly picking up a strong following, and have seen their music described as “the perfect antithesis to standard British indie”.

Their debut album Dromes has been very well received, with NME awarding it an 8/10 review, but it is Younghusband’s defiant un-pretentiousness that also sets them apart, with the album’s title track conceived in a venue’s grubby toilet (not that you’d be able to tell).

And with the Pop Recs boys upholding their brilliant free entry policy as always, it’s set to be a gig to miss at your own peril.

Younghusband play Pop Recs on Sunday May 11 at 7pm
