Out Of The Trees X – Northumberland's alternative music festival unveils final lineup
Northumberland’s only alternative music festival, Out of the Trees has released it’s line up.
Out of the trees recently announced that after 10 years, 2015 will be the last and final Out of the Trees festival ever. The charity focused event has previously helped causes including the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, Morden Tower. This year Out of the Trees will be donating all their proceeds to the Samaritans.
A group of the regions finest alternative scene are set to play the festival in the medieval village of Warkworth. Featuring 19 acts across three venues Out of the Trees will offer live music throughout Saturday January 3, starting from 1pm
The day-long festival takes place in The Hermitage Inn, The Masons Arms and in the village Memorial Hall, which are all on one street in Warkworth. As part of the ticket price organisers are laying on a bus to transport festival goers from Newcastle Central station to Warkworth and return journey.
To celebrate 10 years of the festival and to launch its finale, on Tuesday December 30, Newcastle’s Head of Steam venue will play host to Brighton noise popsters Tyrannosaurus Dead, Skull Puppies, Baker Island and Rushers of Din with DJs.
The gig is free entry for those with festival tickets.
