Lucy Rose to play Newcastle's Think Tank
Lucy Rose, one of the UK’s most promising young artists, will play at Think Tank this March after finishing the recording of her second album, which is due for release later this year.
The Warwickshire-born singer-songwriter released her debut album Like I Used To in 2012 and has since supported Neil Young on his British Summer Time headline show as well as providing vocals for various Bombay Bicycle Club tracks.
Lucy’s first album consisted mainly of soft, acoustic ballads and tender love songs but she’s recently hinted at a change in sound for the second LP, showcasing her new electronic material when she played on The Other Stage at Glastonbury last year.
The last time Lucy Rose toured the UK was 18 months ago and it’s likely to be a long while before she’s back here in the North East.
Lucy Rose plays Think Tank on March 21. Doors open at 7pm. Tickets £14.30 inc. booking fee.
