The first ever animated Disney/Marvel film will be hitting the big screen this week (January 30), in the form of a huggable, marshmallow-like robot named Baymax and 5 unlikely superheroes.

Big Hero 6 is the latest action-packed comedy fresh from the Walt Disney Animation Studios, about the relationship between robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada and his brother’s homemade healthcare robot, Baymax.

But when a tragic (typical, devastating Disney) turn of events occurs, Hiro looks to closest companion Baymax and transforms his inexperienced college friends into high-tech superheroes: to stop a dangerous plot unfolding on the streets of fictional town, San Fransokyo.

Inspired by the obscure Marvel comics of the same name, the team who brought Big Hero 6 to life (makers of Frozen, Tangled and Wreck It Ralph) say the film will be a future favourite for years to come.

It looks like Olaf may have some competition now Baymax is in town…

Big Hero 6 will be in cinemas January 30.
