The self-described doom-pop band, Lonely The Brave, will be heading to The Cluny on March 13. This Cambridge born quintet may not have been around for very long, but they have built up a pretty strong fan base in that short amount of time.

Gavin Edgeley is the man on the drums, Mark Trotter, Ross Smithwick and Andrew Bushen are on guitar and bass, and David Jakes is up front, leading the pack with his gravelly vocals. Their debut album The Day’s War is out on CD and vinyl, so you can look forward to crowd-pleasers like Trick of the Light and Backroads.

The band will soon be heading out on tour with British rock band Don Broco. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, they will also be playing main stage at Reading and Leeds this year. Get in quickly and witness a relatively intimate set while you can.

Lonely the Brave play The Cluny, Newcastle on Friday March 13. Tickets £7.70.
