The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time returns to the region for another run.

The show was a huge hit at the Theatre Royal in Newcastle, and now it makes its way across both the Tyne and the Wear to set up sticks at Sunderland’s Empire Theatre from August 11 to August 15.

The Curious Incident, based on the best-selling novel by Mark Haddon, revolves around a young boy named Christopher Boone, who happens to come across the murder of a dog.

Christopher is the kind of kid with a differently wired mind. He loves lists, patterns and maths, hates yellow and brown, and hates being touched. He’s always been content with his life, until he happens to come across the murder which turns his world on its head – a murder he intends to investigate in the great search for truth.

With the same cast as the show which graced the Theatre Royal, it’s sure to be a hit.
