The Vaccines are to release their third album English Graffiti on May 25.

The British indie band’s third album will include already released singles Handsome and Dream Lover. They follow-up the release with a UK tour, but unfortunately there are no North East dates announced yet. The Vaccines played an intimate gig in March however, at Hartlepool’s Borough Hall.

The award-winning group, from West London, have previously released What Did You Expect from The Vaccines and Come of Age before releasing the EP Melody Calling in 2013.

Lead singer, Justin Young, told Zane Lowe in an interview that he believes English Graffiti will be “genre defining”. Yet in an interview with NME, Young claimed that he wanted to create an album that “sounds amazing next year and then terrible in 10 years!”

From the two songs already released, we can be sure this album will take them in a completely different direction from where they’ve been before, and I for one, am excited.
