17th May 2017Lightning McQueen is racing back to the big screen this July in the well-anticipated threequel of Disney Pixar’s Cars.
Fans of the animated film series will witness the transition of their franchise hero from rookie to old-timer as he struggles to keep his racing career alive.
Owen Wilson returns as the race car defending his title from technological-advanced rivals like Jackson Storm (Armie Hammer).
In order to beat his competitors, McQueen must return to his roots and develop new skills that will keep him in the game.
Stand-up comedian Cristela Alonzo will be appearing as the voice of Cruz Ramirez, a young Hispanic female race car who takes on the role of McQueen’s mentor.
The film will also see the return of old favourites like Mater (voiced by Larry the Cable Guy) and Sally Carrera (voiced by Bonnie Hunt).
