Review: How to Be Single

Review: How to Be Single

19th February 2016 Off By Daniela Ralu Nastase

There’s a right way to be single and a wrong way to be single, or at least that’s the Alice’s (Dakota Johnson) conclusion after spending months to rediscover herself and hiking the Grand Canyon on New Year to see the sunrise with the hope of a new beginning.

With the help of her wild friend, Robin (Rebel Wilson) who is giving her precious life advises (how many drinks she can drink before she has to sleep with someone) and her crazy sister, Meg (Leslie Mann), Alice tries to discover who she is outside of relationships. Although she finds herself on and off relationships through the movie either with her ex, or the bachelor bartender or soon-widowed man, her friend is helping her to see the good side of life and shows her how to enjoy a party.

It might seems like your regular chick flick, but you’ll surprise yourself laughing along the lines of the main characters and learn a thing or two about enjoying your lonely inner self.

The thing about being single: you need to cherish it!

You can see How to Be Single at Sunderland Empire, Cineworld in Boldon and Newcastle Empire Cinema from 14th February.
