Leaving a band to go solo hasn’t always worked out for many pop stars, but for Gwen Stefani, leaving No Doubt to make her own music proved to be a very smart move.

The success of her first two albums along with seven Grammy nominations showed the world that she is an artist in her own right.

Having worked on her third studio album for nearly a decade while taking time out to be a mother, Stefani describes it as a ‘break-up record’, and teased fans with the release of ‘Used To Love You’ in October.

The second single from the album, ‘Make Me Like You’, recently became TV’s first ever live music video – it was acted out, filmed and broadcast live during a Grammys commercial break.

There will also be a Target version of the album which includes four extra tracks.

This is What The Truth Feels Like comes out on March 18.
