Pop-rock trio Busted have announced their hugely anticipated upcoming arena tour which will be called Pigs Can Fly and will see them stopping off at Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle.
The band, who have a staggering five-million record sales, announced their surprise return to the music scene late last year to a phenomenal response, and have announced the name of the upcoming tour today, along with the tour’s special guests.
Explaining the name, Charlie Simpson said: “We’re calling the tour ‘Pigs Can Fly’ because it just goes to show that anything can happen! None of us thought we’d ever tour together again, and it’s been an amazing journey getting back to this point. We can’t wait to get out on the road!”
Busted also announced that special tickets for the tour will go on sale soon, which offer fans the chance to actually be part of the show in a first of its kind experience, in which fans will be able to interact with the show from part of the actual stage.
Also announced today are Busted’s support for the tour: Wheatus, who are best known for their 2000 single Teenage Dirtbag; YouTube sensation Emma Blackery, who recently supported Charlie Simpson on his tour earlier this year, will also join Busted across UK and Ireland.
The band have not played together in 12 years and is dubbed as “the reunion they said could never happen” by the band members themselves.
Fans will get the chance to see Matt, James and Charlie play all their greatest hits together live on Sunday, May 15, at Metro Radio Arena.
