Excitement builds as EA release Mass Effect: Andronema gameplay trailer

Five years after the last Mass Effect game the series is finally getting a sequel as players are thrust into the 22nd century.

Long-term fans of the series have been teased for months now about the upcoming release of the Mass Effect: Andronema.

The latest gameplay trailer focuses on combat, highlighting a number of key points on weaponry, new cover systems and other skills which are new to the game this time around.

In the game, players are dropped into the Milky Way Galaxy during the 22nd Century as humanity tries to populate new worlds.

Following a 600 year journey to the Andronema Galaxy, the user wakes up with the purpose of completing the Andronema Initiative.

The game has already won a number of awards as the most anticipated game to be released this year.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is released on 23 March, 2017 on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
